About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works as part of the Production Team at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Pasadena. The role supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program and its participants by processing donated merchandise, maintaining product quality, and helping ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations. Employees are expected to follow Salvation Army policies and government regulations, protect confidential information when required, and remain flexible to support production coverage.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must pass a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry checks.
Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
Ability to move product weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be flexible to ensure adequate production coverage; schedules may include any shift, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Sort products efficiently and properly according to Salvation Army policy.
Inspect products for defects and damage as part of quality assurance.
Correctly identify products and direct them to the appropriate department for processing.
Collect merchandise from the distribution center and transport materials safely.
Follow safety measures established and maintained by Salvation Army policy and government regulations.
Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the program.
