About The Position

As a part-time Lumper, you will help keep warehouse operations moving efficiently by unloading inbound freight, organizing product, and preparing merchandise for distribution. The role involves active, hands-on material handling and working closely with team members to meet productivity and service goals. This is permanent, year-round employment at the Heath, Ohio location, scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, for 20–25 hours per week. Pay is $16.50 per hour, with an opportunity to earn more through incentives.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist repeatedly throughout the shift and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in multiple-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
• Experience using a motorized pallet jack.
• Previous warehouse, unloading, or freight-handling experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound freight from trailers.
• Sort, organize, and stage merchandise for warehouse operations.
• Move product using pallet jacks and approved material-handling equipment.
• Inspect freight for visible damage and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety standards and procedures.
• Support daily warehouse operations through various material-handling tasks.
• Work with team members to achieve productivity and service goals.
