Warehouse Associate (Part Time Flex, Nights)
About The Position
Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks necessary for receiving, storing, and shipping products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. Warehouse team members receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. This part-time flex role supports high-volume days, planned PTO coverage, and periods of high call-offs. The employee must work one mandatory shift per week scheduled in advance; additional shifts may be selected based on availability and business needs. The stated mandatory shift is Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., or until task completion. Accepted shifts must be worked in full and may extend beyond the estimated end time. Work hours will not exceed an average of 29 hours per week on an ongoing basis. New hires may complete a 1–3-day onboarding ramp-up during their first week or first pay period, scheduled by agreement based on site needs and availability. Shift opportunities and updates are provided by mobile device.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
- Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English to process documents.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
Responsibilities
- Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Train and become certified to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
- Work accepted shifts in full and meet standard attendance expectations.
