About The Position

This position involves stocking products in various warehouse locations such as pick modules, carousels, or mezzanines. The role requires verifying part numbers and quantities, scanning storage locations, and ensuring parts match the items to be stocked. It also involves rotating parts for first-in, first-out inventory management and finding alternative locations for items if adequate space is not available. The associate may operate push carts, carousels, or pallet jacks. The role emphasizes meeting internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, while adhering to quality goals and standard operating procedures. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance, working overtime as needed, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude are crucial. The position also requires contributing to the operations team, working independently with minimal supervision, and maintaining a positive attitude focused on results. Ensuring a safe working environment, supporting daily warehouse metrics, performing FOD and location maintenance for 5S standards, and cross-training in other areas are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
  • Energetic and goal focused
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math
  • Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred
  • May require an in-house material handling equipment license according to the type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Scans product to be stocked in pick module, carousel, or mezzanine; verifies part number and quantity to be stocked; scans storage location; verifies parts in location are the same as parts to be stocked; rotates parts to ensure “first in first out” where appropriate.
  • If adequate space is not available, finds a new location that will accommodate parts using a split stock function, or function for a larger location; scans parts into new location and verifies within WCS.
  • May be required to operate push cart, carousel, or pallet jack as required.
  • Ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within the areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Meets established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals as defined by Management.
  • Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies defined by Human Resources and Operations; available to work overtime as required due to business demands.
  • Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others to complete all work assignments according to expectations and in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Contributes to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, works with a sense of urgency, and maintains an overall positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI.
  • Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating policies and expectations; notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
  • Supports daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Performs FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.
