About The Position

This position pays $18.00 per hour with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves scanning product to be stocked in pick module, carousel, or mezzanine; verifying part number and quantity to be stocked; scanning storage location; verifying parts in location are the same as parts to be stocked; and rotating parts to ensure “first in first out” where appropriate. If adequate space is not available, the associate will find a new location that will accommodate parts using a split stock function, or function for a larger location; scanning parts into new location and verifying within WCS. The role may require operation of a push cart, carousel, or pallet jack. The associate is responsible for ensuring TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery within their assigned areas. They must meet established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals as defined by Management. Active participation in job qualification audits and strict adherence to all established standard operating procedures are required. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies and availability to work overtime as required due to business demands are essential. The position requires a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others to complete all work assignments effectively and efficiently. Contributing to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, working with a sense of urgency, and maintaining an overall positive attitude focused on delivery of desired results for TTI are expected. Ensuring a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating policies and expectations, and notifying management of any observed safety hazards are critical. The role supports daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Performing FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained, and actively cross-training in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
• Ability to count accurately and perform simple math.
• Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
• Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
