About The Position

Airgas is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Coppell, TX! We are looking for you! At Airgas, our trusted Warehouse Associates take ownership of moving material within a warehouse, while following and contributing to the facility work rules and while meeting or advancing the regular quality and safety standards. The normal duties may include the following: Supports the team’s quality and efficiency goals by loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products with care. Ensures the quality and care of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders to provide excellent service. Maintains a clean and organized work area to support a safe environment for everyone and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Operates powered industrial trucks as needed to assist in daily warehouse flow. Willingly supports the team with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-1 year warehousing or similar experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours
• Ability to read and comprehend customers' orders, bills of lading, etc.
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems
• Cherry Picker operation

Nice To Haves

• Standup forklift operation
• Pallet Jack operation
