About The Position

Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Tool is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate II to support its Salinas, California branch. The role supports warehouse operations and customer service by handling inventory, preparing shipments, operating warehouse equipment, maintaining clean and safe areas, and assisting sales staff and drivers. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. lunch break. Overtime may be required as needed.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Basic computer skills.
Pass forklift certification training.
Detail-oriented.
Receiving and put-away experience.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Ability to reach and stretch without personal injury.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with an 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. lunch break.
Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

Pull and pick tickets.
Restock shelves correctly; maintain bin locations and labels; and return stock to proper locations.
Assist sales staff in locating parts.
Prepare orders for shipment by accurately boxing and labeling items.
Operate the wire machine according to procedure.
Operate a forklift to move pallets and other heavy materials.
Keep the shipping area, warehouse aisles and walkways, pipe yard, and parking lot clean and free of safety hazards.
Assist sales counter associates at the sales counter when needed.
Assist drivers with backup delivery driving.
