About The Position

An established company in Coppell, Texas, is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity paying $22 per hour. The role involves operating forklifts and reach trucks and supporting the full warehouse process, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping. Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on forklift and reach truck operating experience.
• Previous warehouse experience involving picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with UPS/LTL shipping procedures and bills of lading.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Dependable work history and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Flexibility to handle different responsibilities as warehouse needs change.
• Work boots required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and organize materials.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, and verify quantities and accuracy.
• Process outgoing shipments, including UPS and LTL freight.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs).
• Use RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and basic computer applications to track inventory and process orders.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist where needed to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
