Warehouse Associate - Forklift Operator

About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Forklift Operator ships customer orders and packages accurately and on time, receives products and stages them for quality checks, and supports warehouse operations. The role handles shipping materials to vendors and customers, receiving components, raw materials, and distributed products, preparing orders for shipment, storing materials, and pre-staging outbound products. The associate follows cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures and assists in other areas as needed. The position operates in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility on a manufacturing floor. It involves extended periods of standing and walking, use of protective equipment as required, and lifting. The associate must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

Knowledge of daily shipping and receiving functions.
Three to five years of warehouse experience.
Basic computer knowledge and experience.
Basic math skills.
Consistent and punctual attendance.
Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Ability to work extended periods standing and walking on a manufacturing floor.
Wear protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and gowning, as required.
Availability to respond to critical shift issues outside scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.
