About The Position

The Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator supports warehouse and production operations by handling incoming raw materials, moving and weighing items, gathering products for quality control testing, and staging finished products for shipment. The role works as part of a small, collaborative team and may include other day-to-day duties as assigned. The work environment may include moderate dust and noise, hot and cold temperatures, and automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment. Applicants should note that background checks and drug screening may be part of hiring, and random drug and alcohol testing is conducted as a condition of employment in this drug- and alcohol-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous forklift experience.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a laboratory supporting quality control and testing.

Responsibilities

Load and unload various, diversely packaged items using forklift equipment.
Receive raw materials for production and testing purposes.
Weigh items using industrial scales.
Gather products and materials for quality control testing and record findings to support the quality control team when requested.
Store finished product in designated storage areas.
Stage items for loading in anticipation of freight carrier arrival.
Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Warehouse Manager and quality control team.
Perform other duties assigned as part of day-to-day operations.
