About The Position
The Warehouse Associate 2 (also described in the posting as Material Handler 2) is a member of the Warehouse Department at OBE’s Waxahachie, Texas location. The role supports product handling and warehouse and production operations, including working across different areas and rotating among essential functions. OBE provides training and describes opportunities to advance into roles with greater responsibility and pay.
Requirements
- Be able to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
- Be able to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
- Be able to correctly count and identify material and attach appropriate labels.
- Be able to perform in multiple areas of the department or other departments.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
- Work as part of a team.
- Perform different functions on a rotating basis that are considered essential to the job.
- Be available to work in all areas of production.
- Perform work as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Operate PIT equipment.
- Attach appropriate labels to material while correctly counting and identifying it.
