About The Position

LECO, a family-owned company based in St. Joseph, Michigan, develops and produces laboratory instruments. The Stockroom Associate supports material handling and stockroom operations, including pulling materials for sales orders and production work orders, receiving and distributing materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role requires teamwork, good interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently when needed, attention to detail, and accuracy with numbers and counting. Employees are expected to support the consistent delivery of quality products, services, and support.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some overtime and weekend work. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and take initiative.
• Perform duties accurately at a productive pace.
• Quality-oriented, with accuracy in numbers and counting.
• Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Constant standing and walking throughout the day.
• Possible lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching for products.

Responsibilities

• Pull material for sales orders and production work orders (WIP).
• Receive and distribute materials.
• Unload, inspect, and record materials received by common carrier.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Stop material movement if a non-conformance is detected.
