Warehouse Assistant Manager/Furniture Repair Technician

About The Position
Carolina Furniture Concepts is seeking warehouse personnel to perform a range of warehouse and furniture-repair duties. The role includes receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, moving furniture for the retail store, and repairing furniture for both in-stock and customer items. The position also involves organizing warehouse materials and inventory, executing shipping operations, maintaining and repairing assets used in the warehouse and field, and maintaining a high level of activity and productivity.
Requirements
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Able to work on their feet for at least 8 hours a day.
- Fast worker who can stay organized.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize warehouse materials and items, including inventory tasks.
- Handle and execute shipping operations.
- Maintain, clean, and repair assets for use in the warehouse and field.
- Receive and process incoming stock.
- Pick and fill orders from stock.
- Pack and ship orders.
- Perform floor moves for the retail furniture store.
- Repair in-stock and customer furniture items.
- Maintain a high activity and productivity level.
