About The Position

Jackson Comfort is seeking a dependable, organized Warehouse and Parts Runner to support its HVAC field teams. This hands-on role helps manage inventory, prepare materials for jobs, deliver supplies to job sites, and coordinate returns of unused or warranty-covered items. The position supports daily warehouse and field operations so technicians have the tools, parts, and equipment they need to provide service.

The work is warehouse- and field-based, with frequent lifting, carrying, and driving. The environment is fast-paced and requires physical stamina, organization, and attention to detail, with exposure to varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. The schedule may include early mornings or occasional late deliveries based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps or inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented attitude, with willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse, inventory, delivery, or material-handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts; training can be provided.
• Forklift or material-handling experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or other inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify materials against orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Organize and stock warehouse shelves, keeping materials clean, accessible, and properly labeled.
• Pick, prepare, and stage parts, equipment, and materials for upcoming service and installation jobs.
• Deliver supplies safely and on schedule to job sites.
• Process returns for unused materials, defective products, and warranty-covered parts or equipment.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged items, and supply needs to the Warehouse Manager.
• Restock service vans and installation kits based on replenishment needs.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation, and identify slow-moving or obsolete materials.
• Coordinate with procurement and field teams on large projects, equipment tracking, and material needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and surrounding work areas.
• Keep assigned delivery vehicles clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Complete paperwork and inventory updates accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer experience, service, sales, and installation teams to support daily operations.
• Follow company safety procedures and represent Jackson Comfort professionally with coworkers, technicians, and customers.
