About The Position

The Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor manages team workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. The role promotes safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, coaching associates, resolving issues, and serving as a link between employees and upper management. The supervisor oversees 30–40 associates and helps maintain a safe, productive food-grade warehouse while ensuring proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is an on-site position scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The annual salary is $70,000–$75,000 plus a bonus. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and education.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with some college-level study.
At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
Microsoft Office Suites experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Inventory experience is a plus.
Third-party logistics (3PL) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe environment for customer products, associates, and temporary workers.
Follow established operating procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and maintaining current warehouse inventory.
Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with associates.
Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
Provide on-the-job coaching and training to maintain associate skills at the desired levels.
Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and timesheets for associates and temporary workers.
Address complaints and associate concerns, and monitor productivity and quality of work.
Oversee 30–40 associates.
Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for a food-grade warehouse.
