About The Position

We have one part time position open for self-motivated and detail-oriented professionals. These positions support both internal and external customers, as well as FedEx, UPS, and out-of-area LTL shipping needs. Pay range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience. Shift Available (Thursday-Saturday ): 12:00 pm - 08:30 pm

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years of customer service or logistics experience.
  • Proficient in Data Entry, MS Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can-Do attitude a must
  • The team mentality is a must
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • Strong skills in using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
  • Friendly demeanor in working with a variety of people.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be independent.

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming customer telephone calls courteously and professionally.
  • Responds to and investigate customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, fax, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Respond to and investigate inquiries, concerns, and issues with internal Sales staff and the Accounting/Finance department.
  • Processes and enters customer payment information into our system.
  • Works with the Warehouse Management team on customer and driver claims.
  • Interface with sales and freight forwarders
  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • Process and manage FedEx, UPS, and our Out-Of-Area shipping needs.
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Provide inventory reports to management as required.
  • Create daily store transfers for pulling and routing purposes
  • Accurately document and update customer accounts with relevant information
  • Ensure all customer interactions and transactions are recorded with precision and consistency
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues by clarifying concerns and implementing the best possible solution.
