About The Position

The Warden has overall responsibility for an assigned correctional or detention facility, including its operations, staff, safety and security, inmates, and budget. The role operates in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines established by CoreCivic executive management, corporate officers, and partner contracts. CoreCivic seeks a Warden with ICE experience and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a secure institutional setting.

Requirements

• ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) experience is required.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; a degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences or a related field is preferred.
• Ten years of correctional work experience with increasing responsibility, including two years of experience at the Assistant Warden level or above.
• Additional qualifying full-time correctional supervisory experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Comprehensive understanding of correctional facility management practices and principles, applicable correctional laws, rules and regulations, and supervision and training practices and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• A degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences or a related field.
