About The Position

As a Waitstaff / Server at Fellowship Square, you serve residents, guests, and team members with courtesy and care. The role is intended to bring joy, dignity, and connection to residents through attentive dining service rooted in compassion, respect, and hospitality. You help create a welcoming dining environment where seniors can enjoy meals, conversation, and a sense of community while supporting their independence and quality of life.

The position involves setting dining tables, taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining clean tables while following food safety, sanitation, and service standards. Effective communication and attentiveness to residents’ preferences and needs are important. Fellowship Square is a not-for-profit Christian Care Community that provides affordable senior housing and describes its workplace as welcoming and family-like.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Ability to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Food Handler’s Card required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Patience and a genuine enjoyment of working with seniors.
