WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Unidine is hiring full-time and part-time Waiters/Waitresses at Amira Choice Arvada in Arvada, Colorado. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The role takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. Schedules and hours may vary, with multiple shifts available; further details are provided during the interview. The pay range is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. The position is part of the culinary team and involves creating positive guest experiences while working with dining room guests, back-of-house staff, and employees from other departments. The role also requires maintaining safe food-handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities
- Promptly and warmly greet dining room guests and take food and beverage orders efficiently while following established service steps.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintain safe food-handling and sanitation standards, and follow up with guests regarding additional needs or requests.
- Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested, accommodate reasonable requests, note preferences, and demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
- Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Communicate effectively and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared with the employee.
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information or complaints to a supervisor.
- Set up the dining room before and after service and keep the area clean and neat while meeting sanitation standards.
- Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff from other departments to perform duties during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
