About The Position

Unidine is hiring full-time and part-time Waiters/Waitresses at Revel Folsom in Folsom, California. The role takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. Work schedules vary by day and include shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; weekend and holiday availability is required. The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The position is part of the culinary team, which aims to create memorable guest experiences and make a positive difference for those served. The role requires courteous, efficient service, attention to food safety and sanitation, and coordination with kitchen and other department staff. Associates may be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a service position in an à la carte restaurant.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet dining room guests and take food and beverage orders according to established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food-handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up with guests to assist with additional needs or requests.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested, accommodate reasonable requests, and note preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated.
• Communicate effectively and remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Handle personal or medical information with sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Set up the dining room before service and restore it afterward, keeping the area clean and meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
