About The Position

SCOR has created a new global facultative reinsurance team to further its success in this market. This role is key to SCOR's facultative property reinsurance offering across the United States, focusing on developing and strengthening relationships with cedants and brokers, and collaborating internally with peers and counterparts in the global SCOR organization. The position involves assessing single property risks, underwriting facilities, negotiating terms, managing bordereaux, and overseeing portfolio performance and long-term profitability. As a senior underwriter, you will support business development, including business origination and ongoing maintenance of SCOR's facultative offering. You will contribute to the achievement of the plan and the profitability of facultative transactions in the US, playing an important part in regional underwriting success. Your contributions will advance the regional and global facultative ambition through sound technical and profitable underwriting, requiring experienced underwriting and commercial skills to develop SCOR’s market share and leadership position.
