Lead Underwriter, Property Cedant Facultative Reinsurance, North America
About The Position
SCOR has created a new global facultative reinsurance team to further its success in this market. While facultative underwriting is not new to SCOR, this focused approach will help secure its position as a key market player. This role begins with creating a book of business in collaboration with the wider Insurance and Reinsurance teams. Within this role, you are responsible for SCOR's facultative property reinsurance offering across the United States, developing and strengthening relationships with cedants and brokers, and collaborating internally with peers and counterparts in the global SCOR organization. As a lead underwriter for property, you will drive the strategic engagement for business development, including business origination and maintenance of the SCOR facultative offering to cedants and brokers in the region. You play a key role in achieving the plan and ensuring the profitability of cedant facultative transactions in the US, contributing to the success of the underwriting team within the region. Your plan contributions are part of the regional and global cedant facultative ambition and are achieved through sound technical and profitable underwriting. These goals require experienced underwriting and commercial skills to develop SCOR’s market share and leadership position across facultative reinsurance.
