About The Position
SCOR has created a new global facultative reinsurance team to further its success in this market. While facultative underwriting is not new to SCOR, this focused approach will help secure its position as a key market player. This role begins with creating this book of business in collaboration with the wider Insurance and Reinsurance teams. Within this role, you will play a key part in SCOR's facultative property reinsurance offering across the United States, developing and strengthening relationships with cedants and brokers, and collaborating internally with peers and counterparts in the global SCOR organization. As a senior underwriter for property, you will support business development efforts, including business origination and ongoing maintenance of SCOR's facultative offering to cedants and brokers in the region. You will support the achievement of the plan and contribute to the profitability of cedant facultative transactions in the US, playing an important part in regional underwriting success. Your individual contributions will help advance the regional and global cedant facultative ambition through sound technical and profitable underwriting. These goals require experienced underwriting and commercial skills to develop SCOR’s market share and leadership position across facultative reinsurance.
