About The Position

Vocareum is a leading edtech platform empowering over four million learners to acquire technical skills through immersive, hands-on labs. We collaborate with top technology providers - including AWS, Databricks, Udemy, and Udacity - to deliver real-world learning experiences in cloud computing, data engineering, AI/ML, and more. We are seeking a passionate and results driven VP, Sales to join our sales team. As a lead Account Executive, you will be pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, driving the adoption of our SaaS solutions, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably selling to universities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education technology and a commitment to improving the educational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and target new prospects within our defined target market.
  • Utilize various lead generation methods, including inbound leads, outbound prospecting, and networking, to expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, tracking and managing leads through the sales cycle.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with companies, administrators, and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and adoption of our SaaS products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to expand our footprint within the education sector.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our virtual labs offerings and how they address the unique needs and challenges of educational institutions.
  • Provide clients with insights and recommendations on how to leverage our products effectively.
  • Develop and execute account plans that align with customer goals and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor account health and take proactive steps to ensure customer success.
