About The Position

We are seeking a high-impact producing leader within the employee benefits / health insurance space to drive revenue growth and lead the sales organization. This role requires an active book of business within employee benefits. Candidates without a current book will not be considered. This individual will lead from the front —leveraging and expanding their own book of business while overseeing the Director of Sales and broader team. The focus is on driving new business, strengthening client and carrier relationships, and building a high-performing, accountable sales organization.

Requirements

  • Active book of business within employee benefits / health insurance (required)
  • Extensive experience in the employee benefits / health insurance industry
  • Proven success in both individual production and sales leadership
  • Experience managing sales managers and/or directors
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Ability to build structure, enforce accountability, and drive consistent growth

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall company revenue through personal production and team leadership
  • Leverage and grow an existing book of business within employee benefits
  • Oversee the Director of Sales and broader sales team to ensure performance and accountability
  • Recruit, build, and develop a high-performing sales organization
  • Establish and track KPIs across all sales functions
  • Monitor pipeline, close rates, and revenue performance; implement improvements as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and carriers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Step in on key deals and support team members in closing high-value opportunities
