About The Position

Report directly to the CEO of a 25+ year privately held company with LOW employee turnover! Truly excellent culture and benefits! Established sales organization - you will help us diversify and tap into NEW revenue streams as well as lead and mentor existing team. This is a true VP role where we need a strategic thinker that is also adept at management, building teams, process, metrics, and genuinely enjoys mentoring others to succeed! As the VP of Sales, you will own the end-to-end revenue engine for ClickBank and be a member of the Executive Team. We are looking for an innovative, hands-on leader who can build and implement strategies to identify and secure new revenue verticals while scaling the existing base. You must be a strong leader who understands culture and performance management, possesses a proven track record of driving results, and can present to an executive team with clarity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in leading sales functions at the VP-level within eCommerce or Direct Response Marketing organizations with $30M+ in revenue, with a strong track record of driving 20%+ annual growth.
  • Proven success contributing to and executing strategy and achieving company revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, without direct ownership.
  • Strong leadership presence with experience building and cultivating organizational change, alignment, and celebrating success.
  • Deep expertise in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  • Highly analytical by nature, with an ability to roll up sleeves and “go deep” as needed to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey insights, strategy, and results.
  • Experience in eCommerce is required

Nice To Haves

  • Direct Response Marketing and SaaS experience are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own all sales and revenue operations, including working with the executive leadership to define and execute the company’s revenue strategy, systems, and programs. This includes growing and retaining revenue within the existing client base, identifying and capturing new revenue opportunities, and delivering results against board- and company defined revenue goals.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish clear revenue targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, and ensure tight alignment with company goals.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key partners, clients, and marketplace stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Chief Technology Officer and VP of Product to align product innovation, development, and commercialization efforts with defining priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Technology teams to contribute to and execute the company’s Go-To-Market strategy, ensuring strong alignment between sales execution and broader GTM priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team and Board of Directors to identify growth opportunities, including new markets and white-space revenue streams.
  • Continuously refine and articulate the company’s value proposition and competitive differentiators in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to ensure alignment on brand positioning, demand generation, content strategy and customer engagement.
