The primary purpose of this role is to maintain customer service according to company standards, generate sales, and handle various operational tasks including housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention, all in adherence to company policies and store standards. Essential duties involve greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering customer questions, and assisting them in finding products. The associate will also answer incoming phone calls and maintain constant radio communication with all other associates. A comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products and an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions are required. The role includes assisting with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Additionally, the Sales Associate may be required to help in other departments as needed and perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping the department floor, along with other assigned duties.
