About The Position

Majestic Labs is hiring its first VP of Sales to lead sales of its AI infrastructure solutions to hyperscalers, frontier AI labs, neoclouds, and large enterprises with memory-intensive workloads. The role is hands-on and owns strategic deals from initial engagement through technical evaluation and contractual purchase commitments, with particular emphasis on hyperscalers and frontier AI labs. The VP will work closely with the founders and business, product, and technology teams to lead technical sales, bring structured customer requirements into product development, and build the sales organization as the company grows. The VP reports directly to the CEO and is part of the senior leadership team. The role owns commercial negotiations, pricing, and commercial terms within a framework agreed with the CEO and Business Operations. The VP will have access to architects, solutions engineers, Product leadership, evaluation systems, and benchmarking resources, as well as founder participation in strategic accounts. The position also establishes the company’s sales processes and long-term go-to-market strategy, including routes to market and partnerships, and builds forecasts and customer commitments to inform manufacturing and supply planning. The role requires extensive travel to customer sites in the U.S. and internationally, travel to Israel as needed, and flexible hours to work with the Israel-based CEO.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of sales experience in servers, racks, compute systems, AI accelerators, or semiconductors for data center infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years leading strategic sales or major account teams.
  • Demonstrated success personally winning early customers for new compute platforms, ideally before general availability, and converting technical evaluations into binding commercial commitments.
  • Ability to explain personal contributions to customer wins, risks resolved by both parties, and the path from initial engagement to production adoption.
  • Existing senior relationships with infrastructure and capacity decision-makers at relevant organizations, and the credibility to secure meetings quickly.
  • Deep familiarity with how large buyers qualify and procure new compute platforms, including benchmarking, supplier qualification, capacity planning cycles, and multi-year purchase and supply agreements.
  • Strong technical fluency in AI, including inference economics, model mapping and serving strategies, server- and rack-level power and cooling, and the AI software stack.
  • Ability to communicate with ML engineers and infrastructure architects and translate technical considerations into a business case for a CFO.
  • Sophisticated commercial judgment and comfort with complex term sheets, risk-sharing structures, and negotiations involving mutual risk.
  • Founder-level ownership mindset and willingness to personally build the sales function from the ground up.
  • Willingness to travel to Israel as needed and extensively to customer sites throughout the U.S. and internationally.
  • Flexible hours to work seamlessly with the Israel-based CEO.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience negotiating large, multi-year infrastructure agreements.
  • Sales or business development leadership at an AI silicon or systems company such as NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Broadcom, Supermicro, Cerebras, Groq, SambaNova, or a comparable inference-focused startup.
  • Experience at a supercomputing or HPC systems vendor such as HPE (Cray) or Dell, where next-generation systems are often sold quarters before release.
  • Buy-side experience, such as leading infrastructure or capacity procurement at a hyperscaler or frontier lab.

Responsibilities

  • Own the tier-1 sales pipeline and personally lead early strategic deals from end to end.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including prepayments, NRE, pricing tiers tied to deployment scale, and conversion from evaluation to production.
  • Move sales cycles through benchmarking, qualification, and executive approval.
  • Lead technical sales with architects and solutions engineers, translating the product’s memory-centric design into customer outcomes and business cases.
  • Define customer evaluation criteria so successful evaluations lead directly to commercial decisions.
  • Represent customer needs internally and partner with Product Management to communicate requirements concerning workloads, models, context lengths, power and cooling, software stacks, deployment models, and space constraints.
  • Hire strategic account executives and solutions architects as customer commitments grow.
  • Establish sales processes, deal-desk practices, and CRM discipline.
  • Develop long-term go-to-market strategy with Business Operations, including direct sales, OEM/ODM and system-integrator partnerships, and cloud or neocloud channels.
  • Build the forecast and customer commitment book to inform manufacturing and supply planning.
  • Develop a prioritized target-account list, secure executive engagement, and obtain evaluation or early-access agreements.
  • Secure anchor-customer purchase commitments and build a committed-volume forecast that supports manufacturing plans.
