VP of Sales

BoardableFishers, IN

About The Position

Boardable is seeking a VP of Sales to build and scale the sales engine for its next phase of growth. The company has an established customer base and a functional inbound sales process. This role focuses on making the new-business acquisition more predictable, productive, and scalable by winning larger and better-fit customers, improving new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) quality, optimizing pipeline motions, developing the sales team, and enhancing growth predictability. It's a hands-on leadership position requiring a builder and coach who can work directly with the team, manage deals and pipeline, improve execution, develop talent, and establish the necessary systems and discipline for scaling. The VP of Sales will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the new-business sales strategy and execution, significantly influencing the go-to-market strategy. This includes shaping sales strategy, team structure, process, channel strategy, talent, and execution, in close collaboration with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Product, and the executive team. The ultimate goal is to build a sales organization and operating system that consistently generates valuable, efficient, and durable revenue, becoming increasingly stronger and more predictable as Boardable grows.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B SaaS sales leader who has built and improved sales organizations.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding B2B SaaS revenue targets.
  • Experience leading a sales organization through growth, transformation, or increased operating maturity.
  • Demonstrated success building repeatable sales processes, qualification frameworks, forecasting disciplines, and operating cadences.
  • Experience operating in a lower- or mid-ACV SaaS environment and successfully moving toward larger, higher-value customers.
  • Strong understanding of inbound and outbound sales motions and the judgment to invest in channels based on economics and performance rather than assumptions.
  • A history of hiring, coaching, developing, and holding high-performing sales teams accountable.
  • Strong command of SaaS sales economics, including ARR, pipeline, win rate, sales velocity, quota attainment, CAC, and sales efficiency.
  • A hands-on leadership style—comfortable discussing strategy with executives and then working directly with a representative on discovery, pipeline, deal strategy, or forecasting.
  • Strong customer curiosity and the ability to turn customer, competitive, and market insight into better execution.
  • Practical AI fluency and curiosity about how AI can improve selling and the value we provide customers.
