Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within CPG.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling sales teams.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on accountability, team development, and performance management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid financial and analytical acumen, including forecasting and budget management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 12–15, including Directors and Key Account Managers.
  • Oversee performance across multiple channels including mass, club, grocery, and home center and hardware stores.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Establish KPIs and drive accountability to ensure team and company goals are met.
  • Provide strategic oversight of customer relationships; participate in key meetings (e.g., annual reviews) as needed.
  • Drive channel strategy and optimize performance across each segment.
  • Partner cross-functionally, particularly with New Product Development, to support product launches and innovation.
  • Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a team evolving across channels and account ownership.
