About The Position

The Vice President of Operations for Packaging and Enclosures is responsible for leading the end-to-end strategy, manufacturing operations, and sustainable growth of the Enclosure Business Unit in Wisconsin. This role combines business unit leadership with direct oversight of plant operations to ensure the highest standards of product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position holds full P&L ownership, leads cross-functional teams across commercial, engineering, quality, production, service, and supply chain, and drives a continuous improvement culture within manufacturing to deliver scalable and profitable growth. This position will be based in Darien, WI. and Beloit, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, and business management roles.
  • Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibilities.
  • Deep experience in plant management and business leadership in industrial, manufacturing, or data center infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, influence, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent business acumen with a deep understanding of operational and financial levers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing operations, plant management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making with a balance of strategic and tactical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategic manufacturing plan for the Enclosure Business Unit located in Wisconsin, aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with commercial functions including Sales, Project Management, and Customer Experience to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Build strategic relationships with key customers, industry partners, and suppliers.
  • Own the complete P&L of the Enclosure Business Unit, ensuring financial performance across revenue, cost, and profitability targets.
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans.
  • Lead cost control, and capital expenditure strategies to drive business results.
  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Implementation, and Safety.
  • Ensure production schedules meet customer delivery requirements while achieving operational KPIs (cost, quality, throughput, and efficiency).
  • Implement world-class manufacturing practices, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Drive safety culture and compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards.
  • Lead product SOP and innovation initiatives to maintain competitive advantage and meet evolving customer needs.
  • Align Engineering, Project Management, and Production to ensure seamless product launches and customer fulfillment.
  • Champion investments in technology, automation, and process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance leadership team across all operational functions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute workforce strategies, including talent development, retention, and succession planning.
