VP of Growth

Wonderly
$400,000 - $800,000Remote

About The Position

Wonderly is seeking a VP of Growth to lead growth and marketing initiatives for its two products: Motion, an established productivity platform, and Wonderly, a new AI-native business platform. The VP of Growth will report directly to the Founder and CEO. Motion has achieved significant revenue and free cash flow, which is now funding the development of Wonderly. Wonderly is an end-to-end verticalized AI-native OS for home services businesses, aiming to replace numerous existing applications and leverage AI agents for customer revenue growth. The company operates on an outcome-based pricing model, charging a percentage of the revenue generated for its customers. Wonderly believes it has the potential for massive market impact in the North American home services sector. The company is characterized by its intensity, speed, and focus on top talent driving AI to deliver real revenue for businesses. This role is for individuals who want to build the marketing engine for a company targeting a trillion-dollar market and are comfortable with a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Requirements

  • Experience building and owning a marketing engine, particularly in a 0 to 1 phase.
  • Ability to move fast, change direction dramatically, and lead company-wide initiatives.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Resourceful and able to become an expert in any topic quickly.
  • Comfortable with messy data.
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort using numbers in a business context.
  • Ability to write clearly.
  • Ability to work with engineers.
  • Strong taste and an open mind.
  • Experience in B2B AI/SaaS companies is preferred.
  • Experience as a founder or early employee who built a go-to-market machine is valuable.
  • Experience as a quant trader with strong idea generation and execution skills is valuable.
  • Ability to step in and get hands-on with the work, including inspecting events in Segment or Amplitude, checking DNS records, debugging tracking, reviewing ad account structure, talking to customers, or writing a product spec.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in big-company marketing roles where success meant managing agencies and approving plans is less relevant.
  • Brand-only roles disconnected from revenue are less relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Lead growth and marketing across Wonderly's two products: Motion and Wonderly.
  • Build and own the marketing engine for Wonderly, driving it from 0 to 100.
  • Identify and solve high-leverage growth problems, scaling teams as needed.

  • Oversee lifecycle marketing, including activation, onboarding, retention, and reactivation.
  • Establish attribution, analytics, and reporting frameworks.
  • Lead creative testing and ad iteration.
  • Execute local-market and vertical-specific growth experiments.
  • Provide sales and customer-facing enablement.
  • Hire, manage, and develop the marketing team as the function scales.
  • Get deeply involved in the work, including inspecting data, debugging tracking, reviewing ad account structures, talking to customers, and writing product specs.
  • Own marketing performance for Wonderly, including positioning, messaging, paid acquisition, influencer strategy, organic content, SEO, lifecycle marketing, attribution, analytics, reporting, creative testing, and local-market growth experiments.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $400,000 - $800,000 (split roughly evenly between base salary and equity).
  • Remote work opportunity within North America.
  • Real ownership from day one.
  • Direct accountability for growth numbers.
  • Daily visibility into performance.
  • Management of an existing team.
  • Regular in-person work sessions and hacker houses.
  • A team that values speed, clarity, and ownership.
