About The Position

Foundation Risk Partners (FRP), a rapidly growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is seeking a strategic and client-focused VP of Account Management for their Timonium, MD location. This role is responsible for managing a book of business, delivering exceptional service to achieve a 94% renewal rate, and driving business growth. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership to support client objectives.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of insurance products, compliance, and healthcare trends.
Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage complex client relationships.
Skilled in financial modeling, carrier negotiations, and project management.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across teams.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
7+ years of prior practical account management experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker.
Life & Health License is required.

Responsibilities

Lead client strategy and service delivery across all lines of coverage.

Oversee the client lifecycle, including onboarding and renewals, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
Stay informed about industry trends and provide proactive guidance to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to develop innovative solutions.
Support sales efforts and identify opportunities for upselling.
Ensure account profitability and reconcile revenue.
