About The Position

Benton REA invites applicants to apply for a full-time VP of Distribution role. The position will be permanently based out of our brand-new West Richland office. This executive position is responsible for the engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Association's electric distribution system. This role directs distribution design, line operations, and construction contractor performance to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of electric service. Departmental supervision is exercised over assigned personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible engineering or operations leadership experience.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience that allows the incumbent to successfully perform the essential job functions.
Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license or have previously been a Journeyman Lineman as recognized by the IBEW.
Maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Association's electric distribution system.
Directing distribution design, line operations, and construction contractor performance.
Ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of electric service.
Exercising departmental supervision over assigned personnel.
