About The Position

Head of GHR Technology – Vice President Corporate Functions Technology Reports to: Managing Director, Corporate Functions Technology Role Overview Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Portfolio Ownership Define and execute the GHR Technology strategy aligned with HR business priorities and enterprise technology direction. Own the end‑to‑end global HR application portfolio (~160 applications) , spanning core HR, payroll, benefits, talent, analytics, and employee experience platforms. Drive simplification, standardization, and rationalization of the HR application landscape where feasible. Delivery & Book of Work Execution Own delivery of the key transformation and important deliverables. Experience building and deploying GHR AI & Intranet related capabilities across a large global company. Ensure disciplined intake, prioritization, dependency management, and transparent delivery execution. Improve speed, predictability, and quality of HR technology delivery. Platform Operations & Resilience Ensure stable, resilient operation of Workday and 160+ HR applications and 180+ integrations supporting payroll, benefits, time, and security‑critical processes. Own production support, release management, lifecycle management, and vendor performance. Strengthen business continuity and resiliency for critical HR services globally. Risk, Cyber & Compliance Ensure HR applications comply with enterprise standards for ISRMP, ARB, IAM (SailPoint), MFA, CMK, SIEM, data privacy, and resiliency. Lead remediation of cybersecurity and compliance gaps across the HR portfolio. Maintain continuous audit and regulatory readiness in partnership with Risk, Audit, and Cyber teams. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Alignment Act as a strategic technology partner to HR leadership globally. Improve roadmap transparency, prioritization clarity, and stakeholder alignment to enable faster decision‑making. Clearly communicate delivery risks, constraints, and trade‑offs. People, Vendors & Financial Management Lead a global GHR Technology organization, including internal teams and strategic vendors. Build future‑ready capabilities across engineering, integration, data, platform ownership, and operations. Own vendor governance, licensing, and financial oversight across the GHR Technology portfolio.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience supporting large‑scale enterprise platforms, preferably HR or corporate functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, global application portfolios with complex regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, integrations, data privacy, and identity/access management.
  • Proven people leadership experience managing global technology teams and vendors.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, regulated environment and influence senior business leaders.
