Intervene K-12 is seeking a VP Growth / Chief Growth Officer to build and lead its enterprise Growth organization as the founder-led education technology and services company enters its next stage of growth. The company provides education technology, instructional support, and data-informed solutions to help schools, educators, students, and families improve academic outcomes. Its commercial portfolio includes direct K-12 district sales, English Learner solutions, B2C and state-funded tutoring growth, strategic partnerships, and emerging domestic and international education opportunities. Reporting to and working directly with the Founder & CEO, the role will build a repeatable, measurable, and capital-efficient growth engine. The executive will identify attractive markets, create demand, develop channels and partnerships, scale commercial execution, and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue. This Houston-based executive role requires meaningful domestic travel and periodic international travel. The position owns enterprise growth strategy and consolidated commercial performance, including direct sales and product-line revenue teams, Marketing and Product Marketing, Market Development and new-market validation, Strategic Partnerships and Channels, Revenue Operations and Sales Enablement, proposal and RFP commercial strategy, and commercial talent, operating cadence, pipeline discipline, and forecasting. The role partners with Client Success, Delivery & Operations, Product/Technology, Finance, and other executive functions without taking over their operating responsibilities. The successful candidate is a hands-on market builder who has created or scaled markets, developed go-to-market strategies from scratch, and held revenue accountability. They will balance growth opportunities with margin, speed, delivery capacity, and capital requirements, and build organizational capability rather than serving as the permanent closer. This is a commercial execution and revenue-outcomes role—not a traditional VP of Sales, President/Integrator, COO, or strategy-only position. In the first year, success includes establishing and operating an enterprise growth strategy; setting product-market priorities and differentiated go-to-market plans; improving sales accountability, pipeline discipline, and forecasting; operating Marketing and RevOps against measurable outcomes; using a market-validation process to govern new opportunities; generating commercial activity through partnerships and channels; reducing Founder dependency for routine commercial execution; and positioning the Growth organization to scale alongside the company’s future executive operating structure.
