VP, Global Transformation Programs

ChubbNew York, NY
$200,000 - $250,000

About The Position

The VP, Global Transformation Programs is a senior delivery role within Chubb’s Global Transformation Management Office. This position is responsible for enabling and orchestrating assigned transformation initiatives — supporting problem definition before delivery begins, enabling the cross-functional teams that execute them, and driving delivery with discipline and transparency. The VP, Global Transformation Programs operates at the intersection of business and technology, embedding directly within cross-functional teams to move initiatives from planning to tangible outcomes. This role is accountable for maintaining execution momentum, upholding delivery standards, and ensuring that assigned initiatives remain aligned to the integrated transformation roadmap — with visibility across geographies as required. The TMO operates according to a clear set of principles: relentless focus on value realization, execution certainty through early intervention and disciplined follow-through, radical transparency with leadership, and front-footed change management that drives adoption at the front line. The VP, Global Transformation Programs is expected to embody these principles in their day-to-day work. This is a role for a results-oriented professional who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and is committed to delivering meaningful, lasting change across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the translation of business priorities into clear problem statements before delivery begins — contributing to the definition of what is being solved, for whom, and by when — and flag scope concerns where the work at hand may not be the most valuable work.
  • Identify which problems are genuinely new versus which have already been solved elsewhere in Chubb, avoiding duplication of effort across the portfolio.
  • Define success in outcome terms that the business can sign off on — not just outputs delivered, but change realized — and ensure solution design is cross-geography from day one, not retrofitted to other markets after the fact.
  • Drive execution and value realization for assigned initiatives with urgency and precision, maintaining an unbroken chain of connection to the business priorities and their strategic intent.
  • Embed within business and technology teams on a day-to-day basis, working closely alongside program managers to accelerate delivery and prevent momentum from drifting into discussion without progress.
  • Align all assigned initiatives to the integrated transformation roadmap, architectural standards, and agreed solution intent, ensuring cross-geography coherence so that local delivery does not fragment the overall approach.
  • Manage the interfaces between the squad and Tech, Data, Analytics, and People enablers: demand goes in, capacity comes out, and conflicts surface early rather than late.
  • Spot when two workstreams are solving the same problem in different ways and force convergence before duplication embeds.
  • Monitor delivery confidence continuously, escalate immediately when risks to value, timing, or outcomes are identified, and maintain honest reporting without sanitizing the picture for leadership.
  • Clear blockers proactively — access, approvals, political friction, resource gaps — and secure business engagement by demonstrating what has been delivered and how it enables benefits realization.
  • Execute change management and communications activities in the daily reality of the work, ensuring that initiatives translate into sustained behavioral adoption at the front line.
  • Participate actively in quarterly planning and road-mapping, sprint-level planning and retrospectives, and ad-hoc working forums for key decisions and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to reporting frameworks that create real transparency into delivery progress and enable informed decision-making by leadership.
