About The Position

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a strategic, innovative, and people-focused leader to join our team as VP, Director of Retail Operations. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for critical operational functions supporting our Retail division, including Deposit Operations, Electronic Payments, Card Services, Fraud & Disputes, Quality Control, and Retail Operational Support Functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field
• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution
• Demonstrated success leading operational teams, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, controls, and financial services operations
• Experience developing leaders and building scalable, high-performing teams

Nice To Haves

• Credit union leadership experience
• Advanced degree
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification or other relevant industry certifications

• Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies that support growth and member engagement.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization efforts that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities, workforce readiness, and succession planning.
• Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Utilize data and analytics to improve performance, service quality, and decision-making.
• Build high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
