About The Position

The VP, Claims Transformation Initiative Lead will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-priority strategic initiatives within Chubb's Global Claims Transformation team. Reporting to the Global Claims Transformation Officer, this role is purpose-built for someone who can take a capability from concept to execution across a complex, multicultural environment spanning Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. This leader will own a transformational program end-to-end, driving it from strategy and design through implementation and adoption. They will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, technology partners, and international claims operations, ensuring solutions are grounded in Chubb’s operating realities and deliver tangible outcomes for employees and customers alike.

Requirements

  • Experience leading transformational programs end-to-end
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering)
  • Experience developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive communications/status reports
  • Experience driving change management and adoption of new tools and workflows
  • Experience analyzing process performance and identifying opportunities for automation
  • Knowledge of industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, design, and build-out of a defined transformation initiative within Global Claims
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with claims operations and strategic objectives
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering) to deliver automation projects on time and within scope, adapting to the regulatory and operational variation across international markets
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for the domain’s initiatives
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive communications/status reports
  • Drive change management and adoption of new tools and workflows, championing an employee-centered approach to technology rollout across Claims
  • Analyze process performance, identify opportunities for further automation, and implement continuous improvements
  • Stay current on industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management, and identify opportunities for innovation
