The Vice President – Marketing and Communications leads the enterprise-wide strategy for marketing and communications at Children’s Mercy, serving as a key architect of the hospital’s reputation as a nationally recognized leader in pediatric care. With Fortune 500 brand leadership experience and a sharp strategic lens, this executive brings a rare blend of creative vision, business acumen, and crisis-tested judgment to a highly competitive health care landscape. This role encompasses the full spectrum of brand and communications disciplines—consumer, donor and physician marketing, public relations, media relations, employee engagement, digital services, graphic and video production, sponsorships, and social media. Under this leadership, these functions operate as a unified force, delivering strategic messages that resonate with diverse audiences: national pediatric subspecialists, referring physicians, thought leaders, families, and donors.
