LatinoJustice PRLDEF•New York, NY
•$0 - $74,891•Hybrid

About The Position

LatinoJustice PRLDEF seeks a dynamic, creative, and committed advocate and organizer to advance voting rights and election protection in the Southeast Region. LatinoJustice uses litigation, advocacy, community engagement, and education to protect and advance the voting rights of Latine and other communities of color. Its work addresses vote denial practices, including inadequate bilingual assistance at polling places, discriminatory voter roll purges, and unnecessary voter challenges, as well as at-large election structures and unfair redistricting plans. The organization also runs Cada Voto Cuenta, a bilingual election protection program focused on identifying and mitigating election-related violations, particularly language-access complaints. The full-time position is based in the Southeast Region, ideally Florida or Georgia, and involves travel throughout Florida, Georgia, and other priority states in the region. The coordinator is part of the Advocacy team and reports to the Chief of Advocacy in New York City. The role follows a hybrid work model with 60% flexible remote work and regional and local travel as required. The start date is on or after January 4, 2027. This is a union position. Salary is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and starts at $74,891 for five years of experience. LatinoJustice offers health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage, a voluntary 403(b) retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
