About The Position

The Advocacy & Grassroots Coordinator develops and manages Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties’ grassroots advocacy program. • Ability to work across departments and with colleagues who hold primary external relationships.
  • Strong commitment to affordable housing and racial equity in homeownership.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, including building actions, managing contact lists and segments, and reading engagement data.
  • Background in affordable housing or land use policy.
  • Experience building a program from a thin base rather than maintaining a mature one.
  • Bilingual proficiency; bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Document program processes to support continuity across staff transitions.
  • Develop and steward relationships with homeowners, homebuyers, and community partners in coordination with the Homeowner Services team.
  • Conduct listening sessions, community meetings, and one-on-one conversations to deepen engagement and identify potential advocates.
