About The Position

The Volunteer Program Director helps lead and grow a local LifeWise program that provides biblical instruction to public school students. The role builds relationships with school leaders, families, churches, donors, and community members; represents LifeWise Academy locally; and communicates the program’s vision and impact.

The director coordinates fundraising and community-giving efforts, leads donor communication and stewardship, and supports the recruitment, training, and encouragement of team members. The role also oversees program communications, scheduling, enrollment, and basic administration; assists with budgeting and stewardship of resources; and maintains compliance with school policies and LifeWise Academy procedures. The goal is to support excellent, safe, Christ-centered instruction and build a sustainable program connected to families, schools, churches, and community partners.

This is a part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week. Some daytime availability during school hours is required, along with occasional weekend, evening, or community events. LifeWise Academy provides systems, resources, coaching, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive partnerships with school leaders, parents, churches, and community members.
• Represent LifeWise Academy as a trusted representative in the local community and communicate the program’s vision and impact.
• Coordinate local fundraising efforts and community-giving campaigns.
• Lead donor communication, appreciation, and stewardship.
• Conduct church presentations, fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
• Encourage ongoing financial partnerships to sustain and grow the program.
• Use LifeWise Academy fundraising strategies.
• Recruit, train, encourage, and support team members.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered culture for students and families.
• Coordinate teams to ensure classes run smoothly and safely.
• Oversee communication, scheduling, enrollment, and basic administrative tasks.
• Assist with budgeting, fundraising coordination, and stewardship of resources.
• Maintain compliance with school policies and LifeWise Academy procedures.
