Volunteer Partnership & Engagement Coordinator

Metro CaringDenver, CO
$30 - $34Onsite

About The Position

Metro Caring works with our community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious, culturally relevant food while building a movement to end hunger at its root. Our innovative programming spans Healthy Food Access, Nutrition Education, Community Connections, and Organizing. We know that hunger is not caused by a lack of food—but by poverty, unaffordable housing, systemic racism, and inequities baked into our food systems. That’s why we focus on bold, community-driven solutions that promote food justice and economic equity. As a high-capacity leader, the Volunteer Partnership & Engagement Coordinator is tasked with cultivating, supporting, and empowering Metro Caring’s diverse volunteer community. This role builds strong relationships with local schools and corporate groups, hosts engaging organizational tours, and coaches volunteer shift leaders. The Coordinator ensures positive and productive volunteer experience while aligning volunteer efforts with Metro Caring’s mission and values. All Coordinators are cross-trained and expected to step into and support one another’s roles as needed to ensure continuity of operations, including during staff absences, schedule gaps, or periods of increased demand.
