About The Position
Métis Child, Family & Community Services (MCFCS) Agency is a mandated child and family services agency responsible for administering and managing culturally appropriate community-based child protection and support services for Métis and Inuit people in Manitoba. The agency has launched and expanded important initiatives to help those needing assistance move forward in a better, healthier way. We are seeking individuals to join our progressive agency and work alongside families.
Requirements
- Access to a reliable vehicle with a back seat and appropriate number of seat belts.
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license.
- Use of a personal vehicle.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Satisfactory Prior Contact Check.
- Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
- Vehicle Insurance with at least $2,000,000 liability.

- Flexibility/adaptability to accommodate changing schedules.
Responsibilities
- Deliver children to family visits, therapy, or other appointments.
- Transport children back to their original location if visits or appointments are cancelled.
- Relate and communicate with children and adults in a respectful manner.
- Accommodate changing schedules due to flexibility and adaptability.
