About The Position
The Volunteer Coordinator is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. The role is responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating volunteers who serve patients and families, as well as supporting the program as a whole. The coordinator teaches and models the agency’s concepts of care for volunteers and the broader community.
Requirements
- Must be organized.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have a warm, people-oriented personality.
- Must have experience in a management or supervision position.
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must have a current Texas driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice is preferred.
