About The Position

The Volume Supply Merchandiser supports the company’s sales and marketing efforts by helping customers manage inventory in assigned accounts. Duties include assisting with deliveries and stocking and maintaining shelves, cold boxes, and back rooms. The role requires creative, fast-paced thinking and collaborative teamwork with sales personnel and customers. The hourly rate is $22.00. The position involves physical exertion, including regular lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds, as well as frequent standing or walking. It also requires periods of focused mental and visual concentration, travel to customer, prospect, or vendor locations, and exposure to weather conditions. Over-the-road travel and delivery work may involve accident risks.

Responsibilities

Enhance the visibility of shelves, cold boxes, and retail inventories in assigned accounts according to merchandising standards.
Work with Sales Representatives and Corporate Mass Marketing to ensure appropriate product inventory for shelves, counters, cold boxes, and floor displays.
Adhere to supplier brand standards.
Establish and maintain rapport with store managers.
Share brand and product knowledge with store managers and customers as needed.
Assist with deliveries and stock and maintain shelves, cold boxes, and back rooms.
