Voice Teacher (W2, Benefits Available, Saratoga Springs Studio)
About The Position
The Piano Place is seeking a friendly, talented voice teacher to teach 30-minute lessons at its Saratoga Springs studio. The teacher assesses new students’ abilities, creates lesson plans, helps students reach their learning goals, and prepares them to participate in recitals. The role also involves communicating with parents and guardians about student progress. The school’s administrative team handles business operations such as scheduling, marketing, billing, and planning recitals and events, allowing teachers to focus on instruction. The studio offers performance opportunities for students and teachers, paid ongoing training and career development, and a creative environment with themed rooms, quality instruments, and technology. A minimum one-year teaching commitment is required.
Requirements
- Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels.
- Must demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview.
- Must commit to teaching with the school for at least one year.
- Submit a music-specific resume.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Music Education or Music Performance is a plus but is not required.
- Ability to teach multiple instruments, such as piano, guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, or drums.
- Open to first-time and experienced teachers.
