About The Position

Arts Academy is seeking a personable piano teacher to teach at its Happy Valley studio on Sundays. The teacher will provide 30-minute lessons, assess new students, plan lessons, prepare students for recitals, support students in pursuing their learning goals, and communicate with parents or guardians about student progress. The role is open to both first-time and experienced teachers and requires a minimum one-year commitment.

Arts Academy’s administrative team handles business operations such as scheduling new students, marketing, billing, and planning recitals and events, allowing teachers to focus on instruction. The studios offer themed rooms, quality instruments and technology, and performance opportunities including open mic nights, parades, community events, workshops, and formal recitals.

Requirements

• Interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people of all ages and skill levels.
• Demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill level during an interview.
• Commit to teaching with Arts Academy for at least one year.
• Submit a music-specific resume.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Music Education or Music Performance.
• Ability to teach additional instruments, such as guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, or drums.
