About The Position

Arts Academy, a One Music Schools music studio, is seeking a personable piano teacher to teach at its Happy Valley studio on Sundays. The teacher provides 30-minute lessons, assesses new students, creates lesson plans, prepares students for recitals, supports their learning goals, and communicates with parents or guardians about student progress. The studio’s administrative team handles scheduling, marketing, billing, and event planning so teachers can focus on instruction. The role is open to first-time and experienced teachers and requires a minimum one-year commitment. Compensation is $25.00 per hour. Benefits are available subject to hours requirements where specified.

Requirements

• Demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill during an interview.
• Have interpersonal skills to connect with people of all ages and skill levels.
• Commit to teaching with Arts Academy for a minimum of one year.
• Submit a music-specific resume.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Music Education or Music Performance is a plus but is not required.
• Ability to teach additional instruments, such as guitar, voice, ukulele, violin, cello, or drums.
